RatioCalculators.org is a small, focused website built around one idea: ratio maths should be quick, clear and free of clutter. You type your numbers, you see the answer, and you can read how it was worked out.

How the calculators work

Every calculation runs in your own browser using standard arithmetic: cross-multiplication for proportions, greatest-common-divisor reduction for simplifying, and proportional shares for splitting amounts. Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.

Accuracy

Results are rounded to six decimal places. We test the calculator against worked examples, but we are human, so if you ever spot a wrong answer or an unclear explanation, please tell us through the contact page.

A note on use

The tools here are meant for learning and everyday tasks. For legal, medical, engineering or major financial decisions, please verify the figures independently.
